PR-8: Low Impact Development
Goal
Complete a low-impact development (LID) hydrologic analysis for use in roadway project decision-making for stormwater management.
Requirements
Determine the feasibility of LID best management practices (BMPs) for stormwater management in the right-of-way (ROW). Complete a basic LID hydrologic evaluation according to the steps outlined in Chapter 3, “LID Hydrologic Analysis,” of the 1999 Low-Impact Development Design Strategies: An Integrated Approach (“LID Manual”) by the Prince George’s County, Maryland, Department of Environmental Resources, Programs and Planning Division (PGC).
